Christina was excellent, The food selection and service was perfect. I plan on dining here again. Thank You... Christina for a wonderful experience. Thank You... Kind regards, Richard Cascone

Stopped by for a second visit. We were happy to see that the service was a bit more robust this time around. We were promptly greeted by a friendly waiter, then ordered and had drinks served within a few minutes. The food was great this time too. Our table got a souvlaki, gyro, Greek salad, fries, tzatziki, and orzo in tomato sauce...and all were delicious, every bite. The kefthedes were a huge disappointment however. There was barely any meat in them! It was like we were eating spongy, fried bread crumb balls. Pretty revolting. That aside though, we were quite pleased with the meal and for just over $8 a head you really can't go wrong. Recommended!

This restaurant makes my diet hopeless! I LOVE the food here. I highly recommend the lemon soup and taramosalata caviar dip.. Absolutely to die for. I probably order delivery twice a week. On the rare occasion that they get something wrong, the owners bend over backwards to make it right. It's a cozy little place if you decide to eat in, family owned and operated. Complimentary hummus and pita with your meal. May be the best Greek food I've ever had!

Let me start by saying my mom and I went here two nights in a row. My grandpa was in the hospital, we had been wanting Greek food, and it was a well regarded restaurant that was also only two minutes away! THE FOOD: The first night we went (5/16) the food was definitely subpar. To start the waiter brought out hummus and pita which was delicious. However, our octopus appetizer was a little too soft. I would have preferred for it to be a little more grilled. However, I still put it over the Greek salad that came with both my moms, and my, main courses. She ordered the leg of lamb which she did not like. My chicken breast and orzo was OK at best. On top of it all, the waiter forgot to bring our complimentary baklava. We saw the place had potential and fun live music so we decided to give it a try tonight (5/17/15). We did not have any appetizer besides the complimentary pita and hummus. I ordered the chicken gyro pita wrap. But, it was not traditional chicken gyro meat. Rather, it was just chunks of grilled chicken. My moms lamb gyro was BOMB though. I ended up finishing it for her. The waiter ended up apologizing for forgetting the baklava the night before and brought us some sort of custard cake with the same flaky baklava top. I would say the restaurant is good- but you have to know what to order.

The food here is great! The service, not so much but I don't come here to socialize lol. The food is always prefect and doesn't disappoint. Between my coworkers and myself, I believe we have had everything on the menu except desserts. Maybe we will conquer that next, I'm sure it'll be great too. I had the spanakopia the most recent visit but my other favs are the rice bowl and greek salad. And that pita....!

Service and food were excellent. Nice plate of Hummus and pita to start as soon as we sat down. Side salad was a nice Greek salad (lettuce, tomato, feta, olives). We all had the lamb chops seasoned and cooked exactly the way we ordered. Service was fast with just the right amount of attention.

I have been to Zorba's twice already while visiting my mom. The food is amazing, and the staff makes you feel like family. I love the greek salad and the spinach pie.

Wow. Just wow. The young man serving us did a fantastic job, delivering each course with perfect timing and a friendly attitude as well! The stuffed peppers were tender and delicately spiced, we shared them and were also "stuffed".The accompanying side Greek salad was plentiful and fresh. The complimentary hummus was tasty and much appreciated by two folks who had been fasting all day ;) Topped it off with Greek coffee and cheesecake, which we also shared to spare ourselves the guilt of this decadent sweet treat, And the kicker? $32 plus generous tip

Nine months ago I reviewed Zorba's and gave them five stars. Unfortunately today I am updating my review to only one star. And that is because zero stars is not an option. They always had amazing food, great service and nice sized portions. I really enjoyed the family atmosphere and if we dined in or got take out everything was always great. They also deliver to the local area and we took advantage of that especially on rainy nights. Things started going down hill about three months ago. The portions became smaller, our orders would be messed up and they constantly forgot items when they delivered to us. Even though we were annoyed at all the mistakes, we still continued to order. The food was still good and it was very convenient. This past Friday night was the last time we will ever order from them again. My friend actually found a large piece of glass (see picture) in his soup. It was delivered as usual by their normal delivery person so I do not think it was intentional. I really think it was pure negligence on their part. My friend called the restaurant to talk to one of the owners. Not to really complain but to make sure they dumped that pot of soup. He was concerned someone else would swallow glass and get hurt. I am truly disappointed in ownership. After several calls they decided to call us back. The next day! Seriously that is just disgusting behavior from the ownership at Zorba's. Unfortunately when they called my friend was unavailable to take the call. He attempted a few more calls but did not get another call back. This is a horrible way to run a business. Do they just not care? This is glass we are talking about. People can get hurt. What are they thinking? Please be very careful if you eat there. I would not recommend Zorba's to anyone. Why take a chance? It's just not worth it.

I had dinner here on a Saturday night when the place was packed and there was tons of overflow outdoor seating and live music (actually one Greek dude that was pretty good) while plates were occasionally smashed and everyone yells "Opa!" I started with the lemon soup and it was very good and really hit the spot. They also served a large plate of pizza shaped pita bread with hummus. I ordered a basic Gyro and it was huge and tasty. Desert was traditional baklava that was also very good. The food and ambiance were great, the prices were reasonable and simply put, this is a FUN place to have dinner.

Another "fantastic" dinner! I had the "small" greek salad and added chicken. Generous portion for small. Very, very fresh. The Feta is the softest, creamiest ever!!!! The stuffed grape leaf was authentic and tasty - homemade not prepackaged. The lemon potatoes are absolutely the best I have ever had. At the end of the meal you are offered a complimentary Baklava sample. It is served warm. Best I have had. I don't mean to be repetitive with the "best I ever had", but it is the truth. If you are in the area you Must enjoy a meal here. OPA !!!!

This place is a gem. I came here with my husband, my Zade and his lady friend. Everything we ate was fantastic, they gave us complimentary wine, and the vibe was lively. All the usual suspects were in order: spanakopita (flavorful filling), greek salad (with fresh, juicy tomatoes and creamy feta), octopus (simply prepared, not chewy at all) and fried zucchini slices (which came with a dipping sauce of GARLIC MASHED POTATOES. Do you hear me? We dipped fried vegetables into a spicy garlicky carby mash, and it was amazing). Zack and I shared the Shrimp Zorba for our entree (at a $5 plate sharing fee) and the portion was generous. Again, tons of flavor. Take your grandparents to Zorba's. It's a little loud, but I know they'll like it.

Wow! How did 70 of you beat me here? It's so close to me. It's sooooo good!!!! Two gyro platters and lots of yummy leftovers!! Very very generous portions!! Staff to customer ratio was on the high side lots of staff. Very friendly and fresh everything all the way! Opa!!!! Five star Greek west DELRAY and we'll be back!!! I have to include one more thing...The waiter made a fresh pot of decaf. I think I went to a different restaurant than some of the other reviews. I'm thrilled. Thanx Zorba!! My wife left her hat and one of their very friendly staff ran it out to the middle of the parking lot! More thumbs up and more Opas!!! Thank you! I think some restaurants on Atlantic Ave need to take notes from this cooool restaurant find.

I really wanted to give this local restaurant a chance, as normally I drive to Lantana for Greek. Maybe we had a bad waitress, but after getting our drinks the waitress forgot about us. We had to flag her down to take our order. The worst part was there was only three parties in the place. One was already finished, and one received their food barely after we sat down, so we were the only ordering party left. My party watched other parties get their food, eat and hang out for a while, and etc., meanwhile we were still, 20 mins later, still waiting for our appetizer. The waitress did finally come back, only to tell us they didn't have what we ordered and to ask if a substitution would be okay. 15 mins later, no appetizer, no attention, and we were now the only party in the place. Didn't bother the staff though, they were all too busy hanging out in the kitchen joking and laughingly notice our growing frustration. My party finally had enough and I got up, feigning that one of us was ill and paid for the only thing we had in 40 mins of waiting, drinks. Found it interesting the waitress yelled back to the guys in the back that it wasn't "their" fault for us leaving. I chose not to bother to explain it to them and left. Least to say, can't give a review of the food, but I will continue to drive to Lantana.

I've never dined in before, but do takeout pretty often. My boyfriend really enjoys the lamb here. I always get the chicken soulvaki platter and out of the 20 times I've had it, it's maybe been subpar once. And that was really just because my chicken had been over cooked. But the other 19 times my chicken was very juicy and flavorful. Also the taziki sauce is great and the staff is funny/crazy (in a good way)

This place is a hidden gem!! Found this great eatery when I went to get my nails done. The food is AMAZING!! I had An array of appetizers from Gigantes beans which was in a delicious tomato sauce to hummus which they give for free during dinner hours. The staff is always nice and cheerful. It's a family business and all,the food is cooked by actual Greeks!! These people know how to cook in a traditional way! I have been to Greece many times and their food is in par with or better than Any restaurant there! Also you must try their desserts! They have a cheesecake that will leave you breathless!! Homemade and totally incredible!!

We came here for the first time tonight and had a fantastic time. There was live music outside on the sidewalk and the place was pretty full. The wait was only about 15-minutes before we were sat. We had the complimentary hummus and Pita (which was great), the spanakopita appetizer (amazing), and two Greek platters (chicken and pork). All our food was amazing and reasonable in price! The food came out fast and was hot and tasty. Everything here is super fresh. Since they don't have a freezer, so it's all made fresh daily. After we finished, two of the servers starting chatting about the food and let us try a sample of their imported Greek yogurt and honey (to die for). They were super friendly and we look forward to coming back again to try other options. Highly recommended.

This place has superb food... totally yummy hummus and warm pita bread. In addition, the falafel is top notch and while I do not eat french fries very often they actually bring them out super crispy as requested. The service is also phenomenal with the waiter asking how our food was and if anything else is required on multiple occasions. The spinach pie although I do not eat it was as I'm told superb. The atmosphere is sparse but I like sitting outside although the view of the parking lot is nothing special. I have been here several times and it is always good.

Food is very mediocre. Too expensive for such a PROSAIC food. The owner instead of treating his employees like slaves and barking all the time. He should spend time trying to fix his menu and learn how to cook real GREEK Food. Eat real Greek food at My Fat Greek Restaurant in Dania FL.

Great food and service. The lamb chops are to die for as well as the Greek lasagne. Fresh humus is very good. I have been here numerous times, brought friends here and they love it too. Never had a bad meal and the prices are very reasonable.. Excellent value for your money. I forgot the baklava cheesecake is the bomb as well.

Last night I went to eat my Greek soup from one of my favorite spots. Imagine this...There was a huge piece of glass in it. I called the restaurant last night to speak to management and they took a note. I called again just now management not there no one able to help me again asked for a call back. I may have been eating there for two years but this behavior is unacceptable not to mention that I called to warn about the glass and I really can't tell if anything was ever done to dump that soup and make a new batch. I'll let you decide. I'm more hurt then upset as I felt like family, I called in the spirit of helping the restaurant and was ignored

I've been a fan of Greek food for many years, and Zorba's lived up to the hype. The avgolemono soup was absolutely fantastic, the chicken pita was delicious (amazing tzatzikizikitziki... which I'm pretty sure I spelled correctly) and the Greek salad was excellent. The pita bread was fresh out of the oven, too, and delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the Branzino share with my friend after drooling over photo #11 in this review set. It arrived either steamed, microwaved or baked -- with no signs of the grill marks or the taste that is soooo good in Greek branzino. It was an OK baked fish, light, not very flavored and fine if you like bland baked fish. The Greek salad we ordered, mainly to avoid the $5 sharing charge, was mostly iceberg lettuce and quartered tomatoes with 3 canned olives for dressing. The outside area wasn't terribly clean, had no natural air movement or fans, and had an ample supply of flying things that buzzed and bit. Two stars is generous.

My wife and I go there every week Food is very good and people are very friendly. Probably the best Greek in town. Will definitely recommand to all my friends. And it is reasonably priced too. Not to mention that the place is always clean.

I had high hopes after reading the Yelp reviews, but we found the food to be below average. Service gets an A+. We felt very welcomed, and everyone we came in contact with appeared sincerely appreciative of our business. Food gets a D. I really want to rank it higher, but it just didn't meet our expectations for good Greek food. The saganaki should have been boiling hot, but it was just melted, and we couldn't taste a hint of brandy. The brandy should not be overwhelming, but we should at least taste it. Both my husband and I ordered a Falafel gyro, and I didn't want to tell my husband what I really thought about it as I didn't want to steer him in one direction or the other. My true thoughts are that the falafel was mushy and runny. The falafal, IMHO, should have been crispy on the outside and a little dry on the inside, but bursting with flavor. This was the consistency of mashed potatoes. When I asked my husband what he thought, he said, "The falafels aren't the style I prefer. They're way too soft." We agreed they were just not good. As for the tzatziki sauce, it was clumpy and thick. I make a really good homemade tzatziki, and I guess I measure a restaurant's tzatziki up against my own. I eat a lot of ethnic food, and Greek is one of my favorites, but sadly, this is not one my favorite Greek restaurants. It's a bummer since we live in Delray, and this spot is only about 3 miles from our house, but there are just too many fantastic food options out there for us to return to Zorba's.

Absolutely, the most incredible Greek food we have ever experienced!!! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with genuine hospitality! From the award-winning Branzino, to the incredible, Hummus, Tazaki, Authentic great white wine all the way to the salivating desserts.... We truly cannot wait for next time!! Our waiter Dimitri was a true gentleman, making us feel as if we were home and made the entire evening so special!!! Oooooopa!! Thank you so very much for everything!!

5 stars??? Ok what do I mean?? Its not a gourmet place but its one of the best CASUAL greek restaurants I have been to. If that is what you are looking for, you have to try this place. From homemade hummus to their own Gyro meat everything was fresh flavorful and friendly. Listen, if I thought I had a great meal while eating with my Mother in law ...then it must have been great.

Walked in to a busy restaurant which is always a great sign! Really enjoyed the Loud Greek disclaimer on the front door it adds charm to the place! Came here due to a recommendation on their octopus! Let me clearly state it is a very basic preparation and presentation! However it is grilled to perfection and SUPER tender cut into bite size pieces with lemon and the best olive oil on some chopped romaine! Simple yet exactly what I wanted!!!! Rather than get an entree I had a variety of appetizers! Had the Keftedes (meatballs) and Loukinades (sausage) appetizers! The meatballs were flattened and softer in texture than I expected but they were packed with flavor and served with a chunky tsasiki sauce and pita! The sausage was super unique with great Greek and middle eastern spices! Couldn't figure out what it was but I'm pretty sure there was cinnamon and other warm spices in the sausage! Different but delicious!

Very good food, but the service really sucks!!! Are waitress ( I think her name was Olga ) had a problem when I asked her for the lunch menu I was told lunch was over and they only serve lunch till 4pm when I told her it was 3:40 her exact words were sorry we are only serving dinner and the computer isn't taking lunch orders anymore (amazing). So if you want to have lunch make sure you get there 30 minutes before they stop serving lunch.

I'm Greek so when i am in Florida you know our family likes to go out for Greek food now and then. We went to Zorba's for lunch and there was a problem with something and there were no outside tables allowed on the sidewalk. Even though it's in a strip mall it's still nice to sit outside in this beautiful weather. The inside was noisy, the tables are close together. We had a photo taken of us and it looks like the people at the next table are sitting at our table! There is music outside and i a hope they fix their sidewalk issues though I think they are ready for a larger place. The wall mural is really beautiful and reminded me of Greece. The service is good, fast and friendly. The food is consistently fresh and good quality, the portions are generous, and they even have Retstina available.

Great, low-key Greek spot. You can't go wrong with the Greek salad, Hummus, Spanakopita or anything with their Gyro meat. They also have great specials for lunch. If you order the Greek salad for one person, get a small. The large is HUGE.

My husband and I had dinner at Zorba'sTaverna last night after it had come highly recommended. He had stuffed peppers and I had lamb shank with orzo. Both included a Greek salad appetizer with complementary warm pita bread and hummus. The ambiance is casual, but the food is delicious and the service is prompt and friendly. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. We took home enough for another meal . We will definitely go back and recommend this gem to our friends.

This place is amazing! The food, the staff and the environment. I just returned from Greece and was missing moussaka. They make a great one! They also gave my fussy nephew some vanilla bean mastiha from Chios and he loved it! Thank you, Zorbas! My experience was excellent!
Great food and excellent service. They serve warm pita bread with hummus when you sit down, then you have a huge choice of Greek dishes to select from. I had Greek roast chicken served with green beans & roasted potatoes. All very reasonably priced. I have posted photos of it all here! It is obvious that this place really cares about your business because of how they treat you. Very rare today.

Wow this place is legit. Food is amazing and portions are very generous. Food is made with fresh ingredients and staff was very friendly. The pita bread was soft and warm and we almost filled up on hummus. Stuffed peppers were seasoned just right and have enough leftovers for 2 more meals. We will be back!

This is a great little Greek place with very good food. I have eaten there 3 times now and the food has been consistent. They are located in a little strip mall and the restaurant is nothing to look at from the outside. It is easy to pass by. The inside is small, but cozy. They have the usual Greek murals on the walls. The menu is as expected. All the Greek classics...gyro, moussaka, pastitsio, hummus, chicken, lemon potatoes, etc. They have a great baklava and an unusual version of cheesecake baklava. They have take out and they always are very busy. Sounds great, right? The only real problem with this place is the OWNERS!! There is actually a sign on the door warning customers that they may hear yelling, screaming, banging and breaking dishes. The first time we went we thought it was funny and a gag....but it's not....the owner is a hot-headed Greek with very little manners. He screams at his employees and yells and bangs pots if something goes wrong or a dish does not come out right. The most recent time we were there, I ordered the combo (moussaka and pastitsio). Well, apparently, he was having a terrible time getting the moussaka to not collapse (it's Greek lasagna) and after 3 tries, he went berserk...yelling, screaming and the poor waitress had to come over and tell me he refused to serve it and I needed to order something else. I ordered just the plain pastitsio and it took FOREVER to get our dinner. You would think after waiting 30 minutes and being told I had to order a different dish, it would be priority to get our meal out...not here. The poor waitress was really frazzled and kept apologizing and apologizing. We got a chance to really speak with her and apparently this is TYPICAL behavior for this guy. She said if she asked again where our order was he would put it to the back of the line!! We jokingly said that when the meal came we would say we didn't want it anymore and she looked at us horrified and said that the owner would probably come out and curse us down and throw us out! He had been known to throw expletives to his customers and tell them to get out! Quite the colorful guy! The food is good, the service (for the most part) is good and the prices are reasonable. Just don't piss the owner off or you'll get a lot more than you bargained for!!!!!

Our favorite place for Greek food to pick up and take home. We love the location! The food is great and very authentic. Between the keftedes, the pita and hummus, and the greek salads, and the gyros. So delicious! We've had really friendly people take our order on the phone and they always get the order right when we pick it up. Definitely authentic with the Greek chefs in the kitchen preparing and cooking the food. We will have to go and eat there sometime.

We had dinner here for the first time. The. Food is reasonably priced, the Greek salad was very good but the main courses had lots of rice and not very much meat. I had the stuffed peppers which was tasty but more than 80 % rice.

YUMMMMMM!!!! If you like Greek / Mediterranean you'll love zorba's.. The portions are great and you'll always leave full and happy. I recommend the "flaming cheese" it's awesome, but so is everything else. The pricing is reasonable and it gets a little noisy, but overall it's a great meal and great experience!

This place is probably the best Greek food in town, but the service can be slow if there are a large number of tables filled. The folks who work there are friendly and helpful, but sometimes other customers' behavior of running the server around can make your service a little delayed. 1. The hummus is freshly made, and the pita are nice and warm. When we came in, they were offering it as a "free during this time" offer. Maybe we caught the end of "hummus happy hour"? 2. The stuffed grape leaves (dolmathikia?) are huge and delicious and come with that wonderful citrus-dill sauce and lemon wedges. 3. The gyro platter is enormous and delicious! All the stuff to make a gyro, deconstructed on a plate. It also comes with a couple of thick fried potato wedges. 4. The moussaka is pretty darned good, and the definition of comfort food. The portion is quite large and would have been completely filling on its own-- but I had appetizers and couldn't finish it. Yum! 5. I love the kitschy Greek interior. On one side, there's a Greek seaside town, with cute little houses and fishing boats. On the other, a large mural of Zorba mid-dance by the shore. In between, marble topped delicatessen tables with simple chairs, with a view of the string of lights hanging outside above the outside dining. It's a strip mall restaurant, so it needs a little extra charm to make it feel like a restaurant atmosphere.

Finally decent Avgolemono soup! Creamy and lemony! Pita was fresh, soft and tasty. For dessert the baklava crusted cheesecake can't be beat. Was there for lunch and am looking forward to trying them for dinner.

This establishment is another example of great food combined with bad business practices. I did a phone order for pickup on 3/14 telling the girl I would be there in 30 minutes. I repeated the order, she repeated my order, I then confirmed the order and price listed on the menu online. Order was not ready as promised and the cashier charged me $4 more than the online menu price. I objected and 3 staff members found it necessary to chime in and give me 3 different reasons why I was incorrect about the price. I asked for the owner and was told he was not in and I had to understand they had changed shifts in the time since my order. Why have online and in restaurant pricing. With guest arriving in a few minutes and no food I had no option but to allow them to cheat me! I printed the menu and will share with the owner but based on the attitude they gave me, I expect no cooperation or refund! DInners BEWARE! Dinners BEWARE!

Great vegetarian options! The falafel sandwich is delicious. You can't beat the lunch special, which comes with delicious tzatziki with a small side salad and a drink. The kitchen was very obliging, and grilled my onions instead of serving them raw. Service is great. Prices very reasonable.

The service was terrible skimpy Greek salad they forgot to put any grape leaves in and when I pointed it out they brought me 1 old tasting grape leave 10 min later. Skip it

The spanakopita was delicious and the warm baklava is the best I have ever had. The owner was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. He greeted us with a warm smile, made sure we had everything we needed during our meal and thanked us when we left.

Food and service were both sensational! Loved the octopus and shrimp youvesti; I'm sure if we ordered any other mains they would also be delicious. The cheesecake and baklava were two of the best desserts we ever had and we are used to NY restaurants. Kelly was our server, make sure to ask for her. She was extremely attentive.

Full disclosure out of the way I was hired to take pictures for this restaurant. But later on that week returned with my family as a customer. We came on a busy friday night where it was like a massive greek party. They even had someone playing music outside. The place was packed and everyone was having a good time. The food really was delicious, we even got two slices of cheesecake baklava togo.

Sireesha R.
There's not much to say that hasn't already been said, but this place is such a perfect little spot. The pita and hummus is great because the hummus isn't overpowered by garlic. The tzatziki dip is probably the best I've ever had. I would go back just for that. I had the lentil soup and the dolmas. Be aware the dolmas are huge! I was full by the time the soup came. Husband had the falafel and it was perfect. Didn't have room for dessert but will definitely try next time. Friday night was so wonderful, with live music and dancing and just such a great vibe. The owners and staff are down to earth and have done a great job removing you from feeling like you're at a strip center. Definitely a new favorite.

Best tatziki ever...we sat outside with our dog. They brought him ice cold water. The service was great! We had two waitresses checking on us. The food had great portions, was fresh and tasty. I ordered the traditional dips with pita, moussaka, my husband had gyro salad. Very nice and friendly. Will definitely go back.

Love the food. Had the sea bass. Just the way I like. They start with pita, hummus and salad, serving the fish with spinach and potatoes. I recommend this local Greek restaurant. the chicken , the fish, and all other greek dishes are just great. We highly recommend this restaurant

Just your average, run-of-the-mill, Greek restaurant that you encounter at many of the strip malls across south Florida. Nothing to write home about but not entirely bad either. The service was decent and the prices were reasonable. I won't be seeking this place out anytime soon again, unless I happened to be in the neighborhood.

Delicious! Now, when I'm in Boca/Delray I don't have to think I can't get good Greek because Chris' Taverna is too far away. Went on a quiet Wednesday night (around 8pm). They brought hummus and pita to the table. Hummus tasted homemade with a little texture too it. Definitely on the garlicky side, which I like. Pita was warm and soft. We had the lamb shank and the chicken with spinach, feta and orzo (forgot the name). Both came with a small Greek salad which was nice but not Earth-shattering. The lamb was so tender it will be hard not to get this dish every time. The chicken dish really had all the ingredients well balanced. The chicken was very tender. My only quibble with either dish was the (IMHO) overcooked orzo but frankly, it is tough not to overcook orzo. We easily had enough leftover for another meal from each. Despite the incredible lamb, I will try the gyro or souvlaki next time.

Fair Warning - - before you sit down for lunch or dinner, be sure there are enough people working in the restaurant to ensure that you will get your order in a timely fashion. I've had many experiences at Zorba's but today was very frustrating and disappointing. I sat for nearly an hour waiting for my food to be delivered. Not only did I sit and wait, but other tables around mine received their orders first. So...fair warning, if the restaurant is understaffed, try someplace else. It is not worth the aggravation.

1st time we visited. Wonderful food. Clean restaurant. Attentive staff. 2nd time we visited. Dirty waitress finished eating and continued to lick her fingers and clean her eyes for the next 20 minutes!! GROSS!!!! All while helping customers! We asked our waiter to please keep her away from our food and table. He understood and quickly spoke to her. She was furious and after more wait staff showed up to work, she began to curse and use foul language. Extremely disgusted with them. The owner was not here at this time. Owner runs a tight ship. When he's there, everyone does a great job. NEVER GOING BACK!! Far better Greek food around.

Outstanding been here often and the quality has stayed the same even though it has become more popular. Try the saganaki as an appeitizer

The food is not bad, but the service is HORRIBLE. We live nearby, and have tried taking out from there a few times and they never get the order correct. Even after telling them that that last 2 times that we ordered, that they got it wrong, and to" please double check the order", they messed it up.( Missing items, no cheese on salad, no dressing on salad, no sauces). When we called to tell them, they didn't seem to care. The other night we decided to try dining in. They forgot to bring our soup( but tried to bill us for it), the side of salad never came, and the waiter was not to be found. He never checked on us or refilled our water glasses. Although the food id pretty good, we will not try it again. Sorry.

Got takeout from here a little after it had opened. Nothing to talk about but just blah. Could be what I ordered since people seem to love this place and I really want to to since I am really close but the avgolemono soup, one of my favorites, was watery and really lacking any taste here. The pita sandwiches? Eh, hard to do it wrong but the lettuce was yellow and the tzatziki also watery and tasteless so there goes that sandwich. I don't remember what else I had gotten, most likely grape leaves, spinach pie, pastitsio, another favorite, but they obviously were unmemorable.

WOW!!!! Talk about a stroke of luck. We happened to come upon this restaurant on a Friday night late at about 9:45 looking for a place to eat close to home as we were famished from a long day at our store. We yelped restaurants and called to find Zorba's opened til 10. We sped over there and were graciously greeted by Yanni. The decor and music made us feel as though we had stepped into a Greek cafe on one of the islands. We were immediately served a plate of smooth and tasty hummus and warm tasty pita. We split a Greek salad with Gyro and could not put our forks down. After travelling through Greece and dining in numerous restaurants I must say that Zorba's is second to none!!!! The spanakopita was superb. Then to top it off we ordered the Greek yogurt with nuts and honey. I have never tasted something so delicious.....Until the baklava was served!! Prices were very reasonable and the portions were huge. We will certainly be frequent diners here. Thanks Zorba!!

Had the pleasure of enjoying authentic Greek food along with outstanding service at this gem of a restaurant. Busy place with outdoor seating. Large portions leaves you full and allows leftovers for lunch. Highly recommend!

Based on several recommendations we tried Taso tonight. Nice clean and no frills as advertised, but the food was great. We both had Greek Salads and the salads and the dressing on the table was first rate. My wife had the Gyro Plate and I had Chicken Souvlaki. My Chicken was moist with a lot of flavor and well grilled. The veggies that came with the dinner were full of flavor. Even the pita and spread were first rate. This is definitely going to be our go to place for good well priced Greek food.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Was bemoaning the lack of good restaurants every time I come to visit my mother. This place was recommended by my mothers hairdresser. She gets extra pints for this recommendation . We will make a point of retiring. The Satorini Salmon was outstanding. The portions were more than generous and we all took home doggie bags. My dogs will never see the leftovers!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! Best Greek Food. There are so many options on the menu, all reasonably priced, fresh ingredients, and they don't skimp on portions. The lamb is too die for! My favorite is the Pita Gyro with the Greek Salad. Their hummus is also a must have. All the dishes my friends and I have had there so far have been absolutely delicious with no complaints. The owner is the nicest and makes you feel like family when you eat there. I have never come here on a busy weekend- we usually go for lunch or earlier in the week- but when I have been there service has been wonderful. Our server Alicia was a sweetheart!

Great little restaurant! Welcomed with a bowl of delicious hummus and warm pita.....yum. Good advice from our excellent waiter John to steer clear of certain fish items (it was a Sunday evening). My talapia baked in a tomato sauce was perfect Oh, I forgot about the delish Greek salad and complementary glass of wine. And a piece of baklava just so we'd leave happy. This place is just great. Loved the food and the people. I'll be back!

Love this place! It is in the shopping center at the northeast corner of Linton/Military. We eat here or get takeout almost once a week since it opened. The staff is very friendly & they go out of their way to make sure everything is good. The food is fresh and very tasty. We love the tzatziki dip, their roast leg of lamb is to die for, very tender and delicious, and their chicken souvlaki is cooked to order, moist and tender. I tried the hummus & it isn't the type I like. I also prefer a chunkier Falafel rather than the smooth one. That said, we will keep going back to this restaurant!

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

(5)Carina P.

(4)Theo J.

(5)Rita E.
Wow.

(4)Nancy M.

Great local Greek food. Gyro meat salad is huge. Free wine with a platter. Large potions. Yum
(4)Paul F.

(1)Amanda A.
Also the taziki sauce is great and the staff is funny/crazy (in a good way)
(4)Beekies B.
(5)Jason W.
(5)Scott E.
Stopped in for lunch. Great Gyros and pita with Greek salad. The gyros is as good as any I have tasted. As good as the Parthenon in Chicago good service too I highly recommend
(5)Steven S.
(4)Miriam A.
(1)Don M.
(5)Donna H.
Delicious fried zucchini, large Greek salad with chicken kabob..the freshest tomatoes! Loved the hummus served with pits for all. A great find - very busy so get there early.
(5)Scott W.
(1)Adam H.
(5)Stuart B.
(2)Lionel M.
My wife and I go there every week Food is very good and people are very friendly. Probably the best Greek in town. Will definitely recommand to all my friends. And it is reasonably priced too. Not to mention that the place is always clean.
(5)Tara J.
(3)Nicole M.
(5)Joel W.
(5)Michael Y.
Great service at this local spot. Casual, fun and delicious food as well. Portions were nice size and fresh food. The lentil soup was also great. Be sure to get some desserts, as well
(4)Rob M.
(5)Lida A.
(2)Kat N.
(4)Rodolfo P.
My favorite greek restaurant so far in Delray. Their food always satisfies my appetite.
(5)Chari L.
Great, low-key Greek spot. You can't go wrong with the Greek salad, Hummus, Spanakopita or anything with their Gyro meat. They also have great specials for lunch. If you order the Greek salad for one person, get a small. The large is HUGE.
(4)Judith H.
(5)Berit A.
This place is amazing! The food, the staff and the environment. I just returned from Greece and was missing moussaka. They make a great one! They also gave my fussy nephew some vanilla bean mastiha from Chios and he loved it! Thank you, Zorbas! My experience was excellent!
(5)Aubrie J.
We went to Zorba's Taverna for the first time this past week. My fiancé and I went on a random week night with our 7 year old son. Like the many times we've driven by it was busy. Despite it being so busy, the service was great and the food was delicious. We all loved the complimentary Pita and hummus. My fiancé had a gyro platter which was huge and definitely filled him up. I ordered a greek meatball app with a side salad and was ready to roll out the door when I was finished. He was accompanied by more pita and their delicious tatziki sauce. Our son had a kid's meatball dish with a huge mound of orzos. Nothing went to waste and it was very reasonably priced. It's an extremely family friendly place. You can tell like most greek restaurants it is family run but they also treat their guests like family as well. When our son was done eating they gave him this awesome kids dessert. I'm still not sure what it was, nothing I've ever seen before. It was like a creamy taffy on a spoon. Whatever it was it definitely made his night. As we left he stated "I want to come here again tomorrow" The seal of approval from a finicky eating 7 year old is always a good thing! My finance and I definitely agreed that we would be returning. The owner of the restaurant shook our hand and wished us a good night as we were leaving. We told him this just may be our new neighborhood Greek restaurant. The only thing bad about this place is it's super close to our house and makes eating out more often than we should very tempting! hahaha

We ate there today. And we loved it!! The staff is wonderful, the owner is wonderful, and the food is just awesome!!! This is now our favorite Greek restaurant.

This is by far the best Greek I have had in South Florida...try the Gyro, the Spanikopta...everything is fresh and flavorful...staff is super friendly and always goes the extra mile....

Food was awesome! Stopped by for lunch. Had a chicken souvlaki wrap and my dad ate the gyro. Tried a little of his plate, really nice flavor. Nice and friendly staff. Defiantly going back for dinner some time.

Falafel and tatziki are Yummola!!! Clean and friendly place. They're across the street from my office so I often go there for lunch. Delicious!!!!
(5)Tiffany W.
Hands down best keftedes and pita ! Very friendly family owned, love love this place, come here atleast 1-2 times a week!
(5)Burj S.
Came here with a wifey to have a quick bite for lunch and had a really good Gyro which was very tasty! The staff was very friendly and attentive and we had a good meal.
(4)Ariel G.
Great vegetarian options! The falafel sandwich is delicious. You can't beat the lunch special, which comes with delicious tzatziki with a small side salad and a drink. The kitchen was very obliging, and grilled my onions instead of serving them raw. Service is great. Prices very reasonable.
(5)Scott C.
The service was terrible skimpy Greek salad they forgot to put any grape leaves in and when I pointed it out they brought me 1 old tasting grape leave 10 min later. Skip it
(2)Emily M.
The spanakopita was delicious and the warm baklava is the best I have ever had. The owner was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. He greeted us with a warm smile, made sure we had everything we needed during our meal and thanked us when we left.
(5)Jane S.

(5)Sireesha R.
(5)Mindy K.
Amazing Greek food! As good as any NYC restaurant! Excellent service from Lucy!! We had a wonderful Xmas eve dinner with the family..
(5)Debbie D.

(4)Hugo B.

New to town.Deff found a go to ...place. staff awesome "a little nutty" but welcoming ...food fantastic! give it a try. two thumbs up!

Yum, yum, yum! Delicious, fresh food and great service. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch; will be back when we're in town again!

(4)Judy K.
